2026 Northern Breakup Bash Spring Breakup Tournament for 16+ players! All skill level encouraged! join us for a weekend of hockey! $1,200 per team or $100 free agent (individual) signup. team format: 15 skater, 1 goalie max roster size. 8 skater, 1 goalie minimum roster size. free agents may be assigned to teams, especially if that team has less skaters than average. happening over April 10th-11th-12th weekend. the bar will be open and serving up your favorite beer! the coffee shop inside the rink will also be open, and food will be onsite for the event! this tournament is going to be a blast! don't hesitate to reach out with any questions. admin@polaricealaska.com or call 907-888-5840 Rules: Following a USA Hockey non-contact format the games will consist of two 18 minute run time periods and 12 minute stop clock. The first 4 games are round robin games where winners are awarded 3 points, if there is a tie at the end of the third period, teams will play a 5 minute overtime. if neither team scores, a shootout will determiine the winner of the game. 2 points for an overtime win & 1 point for an overtime lose. The first tie-breaker for the playoff round will be points, if two teams are tied in points then the team with less penalties in minutes will take the higher seed, if two teams are tied in points and PIMs, then their head to head game score will be their tie breaker.
