Age & Waiver: Participants are required to be at least 21 years old (or turning 21 by May 7th of current year), as well as have an active signed waiver for the current league season.
BEHAVIOR AND CONDUCT

Zero Tolerance Policy: PBR will enforce strict policies against unsportsmanlike behavior, including verbal abuse of officials and dangerous play. Unsportsmanlike conduct will result in a match penalty, plus a minimum 1 game suspension (not to include the current game).
Fighting Penalties: Fighting is prohibited. Fighting will result in a match penalty, plus a minimum 1 game suspension (not to include the current game).
Respectful Interaction: Players are expected to exhibit good sportsmanship, respect for officials, and positive interactions with teammates and opponents.
Handshake Line: A handshake line will take place at the end of every game. This is a time honored tradition in hockey!

GAME PLAY AND PENALTIES

Game Duration: All games will begin with a 2 minute warm-up. Games will consist of two 17 minute run-time periods, and one 12 minute stop-time period. Play will revert to a running clock during the third period in the event that the goal differential exceeds 5. In the event that the goal differential is closed (to 5 or less), the clock will revert back to stoptime. 1 minute break between periods.
Penalty Structure: Minor penalties will last 2 minutes, and major penalties will be 5 minutes.
Goal Limits: 3 Goal limit per player, per game. No point limit (players encouraged to assist in scoring after their goal limit has been reached). Additional goals scored beyond this limit will not count and could result in a delay of game penalty.

SUBSTITUTIONS

Substitute Players: Substitutes not currently registered with the league must be approved by league officials plus the team captains for the current game. Substitutes not currently registered with the league must also be requested a minimum of 2 hours prior to the game time.
Substitute players that are currently registered with the league can fill in with approval from both team captains for the current game.

Unauthorized substitutes can lead to game forfeiture and disciplinary action.
TIEBREAKERS

Tiebreaker Structure: In the event of a tie game, a 3-round shootout will be used to determine the winner. The same player cannot shoot more than once. If it is tied after a shootout, the game ends in a tie, with each team being awarded one point. LOCKER ROOM CONDUCT

Locker room conduct: Women may choose to use the same locker room as their team, and all players are expected to demonstrate respect in shared spaces. Alternatively, a dedicated women’s locker room will also be available for their use.
No drugs or illegal substances permitted at any time.
Players must clean up after themselves. Do not leave gear, bottles, or trash behind—respect the rink staff and facilities.
Anyone not registered in the league is not permitted to enter locker rooms during league events. (i.e. children, friends, family members)
Eliminate BYOB
Benchwarmers is now open 7 days a week. This perk of having a rink side bar is that you can now pre order drinks to the bench during the game as well as pre game with your team. To make this possible, please refrain from bringing outside drinks into the rink. Locker room beers are something that our team is working on to accomodate! For the time being, pregame with your team upstairs at Benchwarmers and be sure to “cool down” with a drink after!

Be respectful to the new perk in order to make this happen for everyone.
SEASON LENGTH:

The season Will begin On May 7th, 2026 and end July 26th, 2026. 22 Game Anticipated Season.
The end of season beer olympics tournament will be held the last weekend of the season (July 20th weekend).
BYLAWS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. PLEASE DON’T BE THE REASON.
